We’re back on the beat now. Two nights down in our new home in Doran’s on the Green and Popicalia #15 comes around fast. This time we’ve a line-up to dissuade you from doing anything else on the night of Friday, 18th May.

DOTT are launching their belting new EP ‘Button’ with this appearance. They knocked our bobbysocks off at a recent Popicalia, so much so that we were left drooling for more from these Galway grungers. But it’s not all about the grunge: with songs aplenty, this is classic pop and we’re more than delighted to assist this Galway foursome in infecting people with their tuneful ways. The EP will be available in spades at the gig, along with some deadly robot-themed tshirts.

We’re delighted to welcome THE #1s to Popicalia for the first time. They’re a band with an intuitive grasp of dirty, pissed-off pop music that serves as a vehicle to give out, to spit and kick: they draw a line from The Beatles through The Ramones and The Replacements. Yes!!!
